Code IT Internship Guidelines

Selection Criteria & Program Rules

1 Internship Eligibility

  • Internship opportunities are provided only after the completion of the respective course.
  • Students should not repeatedly ask or remind mentors or staff regarding internship placement before course completion.
  • After the course ends, an Internship Application Form (Google Form) will be published.
  • Only interested students who fill out the form will be considered for the internship process.

2 Attendance Requirement

  • A minimum of 80% course attendance is required to be directly eligible for internship selection.
  • Students with 60%–79% attendance may be called for an interview and their selection will depend on their overall performance.
  • Students with below 60% attendance will not be considered for internship and no exceptions will be made.

3 Google Meet Attendance Rules

  • Students must join classes using their original full name.
  • Attendance will be tracked through the Google Meet Tracker.
  • Fake names, nicknames, or anonymous accounts will not be counted for attendance.

4 Internship Selection Process

Selection will be based on:

  • Attendance records.
  • Course completion status.
  • Interview performance (if applicable).
  • Technical knowledge and practical skills.
  • Overall discipline and professionalism.

5 Internship Working Hours

  • Internship working hours are flexible and will vary according to project requirements.
  • Interns are expected to maintain the minimum 5 hours assigned by their respective supervisors and complete tasks on time.

6 Project-Based Internship

  • All internships are project-based.
  • Task assignments and schedules may change depending on project requirements and deadlines.
  • Interns are expected to actively participate and deliver assigned work responsibly.

7 Monitoring and Performance

  • Everything will be monitored and tracked, including attendance, task completion, communication, and overall performance.
  • Failure to maintain professionalism or complete assigned responsibilities may result in termination of the internship opportunity.

8 Final Decision

The decision made by Code IT regarding internship selection and placement shall be final and binding.
